We are an international family that has decided to settle down in Southern Italy after having lived on three continents. I (Ursula) am an archaeologist, a culinary historian and a book author. My husband Manoocher is a photojournalist who has worked around the globe for international agencies and magazines and who decided to settle down to farm and to share his work and life experience.
Together with our daughter Clara we share this place with two dogs, a cat and some chicken who kindly provide us with eggs. We believe in zero mile products and traditionally inspired sustainable living. Hence we grow most of our fruits and vegetables, make our own wine and olive oil. We are environmentally conscious and therefore source our electricity via solar panels.
We speak English, Italian, French, German, Persian, Azeri and Turkish.
